Zzipp Creatives would like to introduce a strange and wonderful character from Little Piddle, a village that nestles outside the County town of Dorchester, Dorset. Our friend the General lives in Hampton Hall with his Nurse Inga and Housekeeper Helga, twin sisters from Trondheim, Norway and his Doberman dog, who became `stage-struck` after seeing the film `Hound of the Baskervilles` on television; "My sojourn in the comfortable confines of the Hall - which became the Family Seat in the 18th Century, due to a strange accident - involving a member of the Royal Family, two Indian Elephants and an Iceberg - has been a refreshing change from the British Army where I spent a large part of my life, rising swiftly to the rank of General in 1967, whence I retired, with full pension, to the wonderful county of Dorset and my beloved Hall. After losing my wife in mysterious circumstances in the latter years of the Middle East Crisis I took up residence in the Hall alone, other than regular visits of relatives from other parts of the country. Having succumbed to a strange illness that took away the use of my legs for a short while I had to employ my dear Inga as Nurse. She has taken good care of my many needs over the past few years and has fully supported me in my many fascinations. We were joined recently by Helga, Ingas` twin sister to assist as Housekeeper. I have always been fascinated by the vagaries of Mankind, and have `kept my ear to the railway track` as our American cousins say, on local and national affairs. My correspondence career first began with the Editor of my local newspaper The Dorset Evening Echo on July of 1993 about a problem I found vexing indeed...
