| THE ACTING CALEDONIANS |
The
Acting Caledonians began performing their shows in 1973 when they performed
the pantomime `Cinderella` at the United Reformed Church Hall, Radipole,
Weymouth. They specialise in Summer Shows with one act plays, songs and
sketches and for the Christmas season the traditional British pantomime
with all it's slapstick crazy comedy.
They have raised money for many local Charities; Dorset Cancer Care, `Early
Birds` who help local children who are disadvantaged, physically or mentally.
They are always looking for more members, especially men. The Chairman
of the Acting Caledonians, Catherine Irving, said; “You don't have
to be Scottish - all are welcome, all ages - we perform for the whole
family.”
